泽北看向深津眼中自己的倒影。他看见自己从哇哇啼哭的婴儿长大，小小的孩童趴在篮球上摇晃着摔倒了，他的第一次运球，他在那个低矮的篮球架下投篮。
他牵着阿哲的手来到秋田，他看见熟悉的前院，他看见同样是孩童的深津正从灌木丛中钻出来，他看见他向深津伸出手，深津也握住他的，他们在球架下一同练习投篮。
冬季的远足中，他们睡在同一个帐篷里，深津养的小蜥蜴咬掉了泽北的睫毛，泽北哭到睡着，深津的体温隔着睡袋传过来。
国中他被人霸凌，坐错班车的转校生深津和他一起收拾了那帮坏小子。他们一起加入了篮球部，深津是当年的最佳控卫。
他们前后进入山王工高，他们的名字依然熠熠生辉。
他看见飞机舷窗外陌生的风景，他看见美高面目模糊的队友，他看见NCAA的主赛场，他看见深津出现在他为他定好的观赛席，他看见NBA前场观众山呼海啸般的应援棒上他的名字，他看见写着罗马音的结婚表格，他看见伤病的右脚踝，他看见婚礼的捧花出现在湘北那个卷毛后卫手上。
他看见深津的嘴唇，他说我愿意。
