From car troubles to rainy sidewalks, their lives keep colliding. And somewhere in the space between strangers and something more, they find themselves on the edge of a choice that could change everything.

They never needed to say I love you, not when it echoed through every quiet touch, every warm mug, every glance held just a second too long.

Called to a seemingly routine case in the Arizona desert, Ed Warren finds himself confronting more than just restless spirits. Alone in a family home steeped in military legacy, a glimpse of his younger self triggers memories he thought long buried. Summary
Lorraine's eyes softened as she showed him the tape, "You made this for me right before you left for college."
Ed chuckled, a little sheepish as he rubbed the back of his neck. "I can't believe you even kept it."
Lorraine scoffed and playfully rolled her eyes. "You're crazy for thinking I'd ever throw it out. You used to say that music would do the talking for you." She stood and made her way to the old stereo they'd kept just for decoration- or for when they found old cassettes, as Lorraine told him when he was about to throw it out last year.

Summary
Her visions, they always took a little piece of her, he knew that. Which was why after particularly hard cases they would curl up together and he would rub her back and kiss her hair until she could relax. He wanted to do that now, unable to get the image of her sobbing on the dirty floor out of his head, but she’d locked him out. He knew he should stay awake, just in case Lorraine unlocked the door or worse, Judy stumbled out of her room for some water and caught him there, but he was just so tired. His posture slumped and he stretched his legs out into the landing, his head lolling back against the wooden door frame. His eyes drooped and then he was falling into a dreamless, uncomfortable sleep.

Summary
THIS CASE IS COMPLETELY FICTIONAL - Ed and Lorraine Warren answer the cries of the Langley family, only to uncover a deception far darker than any haunting they’ve faced. Trapped in a cellar shrine of blood and rot, they must fight through gore, madness, and betrayal before the altar consumes them both. (mostly ed)

“He’s not that funny,” Lorraine whispers to herself as she climbs the rickety stairs.
Our favorite couple deal with a scare that hits close to home. Ed/Lorraine.

Summary
These two have become my happy place again. I normally avoid September 4th because I hate my birthday, but September 5th is the UK release for TC4, so I am hella excited for that date for once. They've been in my head for the last few days, and I may have fallen into fixation about them. Cue fanfiction.
1. The proposal.
2. Thirty years later/////
His tale has more twists and turns, a web he cannot begin to untangle with his low exhaustion and overwhelming agony. But with Lorraine, they will begin to wind the threads of his trauma until they have made sense of it, and Ed is certain that he will overcome any Hell that the world throws towards him.
Bets hedged, jibes made, everybody who has met them has doubted their love.
But it was Ed’s love for Lorraine that brought him home to her arms.
