Lieutenant Kaidan Alenko is thrilled to learn that he was specially selected to serve on the Alliance's best ship. When he learns he will be serving under the famous Commander Shepard, he isn't sure what to think. No one knows much of anything about her after her service record. But of course, there's always more to it than that.
Commander Mabel Shepard is glad to serve, but she still struggles with her past experiences. She has only one person to talk to about it, but because he's her commanding officer, she feels she can't. When she meets a certain lieutenant, however, she feels like she may finally have found someone who could change that.

Author's Note: Didn't mean to get too religious here. However, the themes and metaphors from Mass Effect and John Shepard are too irresistible. I always have Garrus refer to Tali as angel. If you allow her to die on Rannoch, (an experience from which, you will never recover.) when you get back to the ship, Garrus will not speak to you. All he will say is, 'I always thought there was an angel under that helmet'. I hope you enjoy the story and my song parody. -

Basically I just looked at a prompt table and write some drabbles. Go easy on me this is literally my first attempt at fanfiction. I have no idea what the rest is going to look like so I guess we'll find out. If you want to leave a prompt go ahead. I will try to fill it though I make no promises.
