Summary
The Alpha leader of the Wildcards (the best heroes in Los Angeles, in his humble opinion), Jacob - the Ace of Hearts - is an Alter who dedicates his life to protecting others, a masked hero working tirelessly alongside his friends without recognition as they hold the safety of the city in their hands. He has to balance his life between a civilian and as a hero delicately, because the government is always on the lookout for anyone with alterations - and he can’t let that happen to him.
Things start to change when a new masked Alter enters the scene, leaving bodies in her wake for what she claims is for the safety of all Omegas. The future of the city is uncertain, but Jacob isn't alone - he has a pack of Cards by his side.
