He needs his dad to stop making this everybody else’s fault. He needs to see him. His son. He needs to see the reality of it. Will needs to stop hiding, even if it makes his father speak to him with that fear-inducing voice again. “It’s not Coach Boomer.”His father was fine with other people’s kids being sidekicks. But not his. Not William. That hurts in ways he can’t describe.
