Summary
Walled City 99 is opened up to the Outside, and it's ceiling is exposed to the sky, for the 1st time in over 7 million years! All the Outsiders, the Slum residents, and the MIdtown citizens get to see Sunlight for the first time ever! The different threats they all have had, are at least mitigated, if not fully eliminated. But what now? Do they stay in the city with sunlight and clouds over their heads? Do they go out into the Wild Outside to see what it's like? How do all kinds of relationships, friendship and otherwise, develop and evolve with this huge change in their lives and surroundings? Friends can reunite, responsibilities can be eased, or at least change. How do they solve other problems and what choices do they make as their lives continue?
Because life isn't just about "living happily ever after" when one big goal or challenge is met; it's about how you grow from that and continue on with your life, and what choices you make next!
