Summary
They only formalized their relationship a few weeks ago, and yet with their history it had been like releasing a dam. Having finally acknowledged, accepted, and then admitting his decades-long feelings for Minovae left Regill treading these emotional waters with only some vaguely instinctual knowledge of how to swim. Even more troublesome, the resultant flood seemed only to grow with each passing day, plunging him into depths he had no idea where to even begin with processing what he was feeling. It was a predicament that would’ve left him mortified before, but now only had him, at worst, morbidly curious about the depths of his own capacity for things he’d long thought both impossible nor of any interest to him in the slightest.
Knight Commander Minovae Arangeir was pretty, no, she was gorgeous, actually. She was the only other being he recognized subjectively in such a way. And damn if she wasn't completely haunting his thoughts at night and making him wonder just what exactly she'd awoken in him.
