Summary
'You're not here,' Beatrice hums softly like she's commenting that there's clouds in the sky. Her eyes close as the sun shines on her freckle face.
'I am.' Wirt hovers over her, his his hand spreading orange locks from her head, the stands drapes shortly from his bend legs, then combing out the ends spreading out. He wants to make her art, to show her as the sun, full of life, beauty, and fury.
Only he's not. After Wirt and Greg return home they found a crawlspace between their universe that allowed them to cross in their dreams. To him he's dreaming, to her he's a ghost she could hear and see, but she can't touch him nor can she feel his hand petting her. Her head is resting on a stump his body is fazing in the same space, he's trying to comb her her but it go through his fingers. He knows he not actually doing anything but he want to, he wants to have this moment with her forever, he wants to feel her winding hair, to feel the weight of her head, the heat of her kiss. He wants her.
'I will.'

Wirt visits home for a funeral, old feelings resurface and he's not sure if he'll do anything different this time. He knows he shouldn't but he really wants to jump into the river.

Summary
This is an in-between story that takes place separately from my other work but fallows the same timeline. It's to help me wright more shorter chapter and hopefully to inspire me to keep up. The main story has been in the works for over two years maybe three, god I hope this works.
Wirt came back home to attend a classmates funeral with Sara. Only for Sara to come to Wirt's mom, Sadie, to tell her she lost him on the way to her apartment.
Now Sadie will experience her son's disappearance again, deciding how to tell Greg and to assure him Wirt isn't in this 'Unknown', helping Sara put herself together after the death of her fiancé and now disappearance of her closest friend. What else does she needs than her ex-husband showing up and bringing out old feelings.- Language:
