Summary
“So what do I look like now?”
“Like a seed growing roots and finally sprouting above soil: strong and beautiful.”
Dean huffs, “Cmon, man, you didn’t even turn around.”
Cas turns around. Dean’s face is red and he’s moved barely a foot away from Cas. He watches Dean’s eyes as they focus on the wet spot at the bottom of his shirt where he’d leaned too close to the sink. The spheres pick up speed. Dean takes a step closer.
“Dean, I’ve told you, I have hundreds of eyes. At least twenty of them are constantly looking at you.”

Angels see the world differently than humans. Dean wants to know what he looks like but this dredges up uncomfortable memories for both Cas and himself. Things might be difficult but they are happy nevertheless. -
