Summary
Taeyong goes to take another sip, and Doyoung yanks the bottle out of his hands, swift. He remembers all the times he'd poured out his drinks, with loud proclamations that he's too young to become an alcoholic, sometimes with a giggle, sometimes stone-faced.
This time, though, Doyoung only passes the bottle back and forth between his hands, choking around its neck, still not looking at him.
"I love you," Doyoung says, and the way he says it—it's not a confession, or a revelation or a declaration. It's just words, meant to fill the silence.
And still. "Don't do that to yourself," Taeyong says, because he has to.
