    Jane Hollander has known one thing her entire life: hockey. Ever since she could walk, her mother had pushed her out onto the rink with the goal of being drafted into the NHL.

    Lily Rosanova has always dreamed of leaving her wreck of a family behind in Moscow and creating a life and name for herself in North America, and the best way to do that was simple: hockey. Being as natural to her as breathing, there was no question whether or not she would be drafted.

    What neither of them expected, however, was to be pitted against one another from the very start of their careers— or that they would eventually fall in love with their arch rival.

    A WLW retelling of Rachel Reid’s “Heated Rivalry”, this work came to my mind after I watched Heated Rivalry on Crave and then read the entire book within a 24-hour period. With the urging of my friend, here it is for the masses.

    I will try to do a chapter a week, but I cannot promise anything as I work and go to university full time :’)
