“You thought I wanted to fix you, but there’s nothing to fix because I already love everything about you”. TK looked at him a little skeptical. “I doubt you love everything.”
Carlos just placed a kiss on the tip of his nose and responded seriously “everything!”
He trailed little kisses from TK’s nose to his cheekbones and across his forehead.
“I love your mind!” he said, pressing a kiss to TK’s temple. “Even when it decides it’s a good idea to bring a flesh-eating lizard into our house.” As TK giggled over Carlos’s continued displeasure with their previous pet, Carlos continued his trail of kisses down TK’s neck and across his sternum.

Summary
TK & Carlos' married bliss is interrupted by a stalker who tests their ability to communicate and work together as a team.
“I think someone might be following me?” The words come out like a question, but as he takes a right, followed by another right, weaving his way messily towards his dad’s, he amends, “Yep, definitely being followed.”
There is rustling in the background and the sound of the call changes so TK thinks Carlos must have put him on speaker. “What do you mean you’re being followed?” Carlos’ voice is calm, steady, but the undercurrent of alarm is clear. TK recognizes Carlos’ professional cop voice instantly.
“I mean I’m being followed.” TK supplies unhelpfully and a little hysterically as he once again makes several weird turns. He takes a deep breath then and answers more helpfully, “I’m driving to Dad’s, for dinner. There was a truck parked out front of the loft and it’s been following me since then.”

Summary
TK's not sure he wants to believe in soulmates, but after his last disastrously failed attempt at love he'd do almost anything for the peace the visions have given him. He's been seeing the version of tranquility, family, and security that he's always longed for, for ten minutes every year since he was 16. Despite the longing he can't help but feel like he's not really worthy of what the universe is trying to give him, he lost that ability through all the mistakes he's made and he isn't sure he'll ever be able to earn it back.
Carlos has been seeing through his soulmates eyes since he was eight years old. Since the first tragic vision he's seen a kaleidoscope of events play out over the years. There has been everything from joyous moments of triumph and joy, to terrifying darkness and tragedy. For someone who feels as deeply as he does, Carlos can't help but feel a little heartbroken at the pieces of the puzzle he's been given and he's longing to share all the love he has to give with his soulmate. He just hopes that he can find whoever it is before the next dark moment invades.
