    Sweet, loving, kind Genya would never kill their siblings, nor would he have killed his mother unless he had too. Sanemi was the eldest brother; HE should have protected them. Not Genya, who was still afraid of the dark, or was still too short to reach the top cabinets.

     

    Sanemi didn't make it back until his siblings and mother were murdered, and believed it was Genya who killed the family.
