Summary
Four years have passed since that long summer, where Kris and their friends managed to avoid the end of the world as they knew it, with the putrescent bulb overhead snapping them back to life. Both they and Noelle made a promise, to never grow apart, and stay forever as friends again.
Four years later, there they were⸺now studying in a city of glimmer lights, like the one they always thought they'd go to, with Kris majoring in musical arts, and Noelle eyeing to become a doctor. As adolescence leaves them, and they enter into this life as adults, the ever-present longing of wanting to be together still remains for the two of them, but never being able to say it.
The two are friends, and yet they've always been more their whole life, so a question had to be asked...
