Izuku wouldn't have minded if his was.
He couldn't decide what was worse, remembering the last hug his mother gave him, or knowing that by his own hand, by the monster that had curled around his fingers and settled in his very being, he'd felt that warmth for the last time.

All Might’s smile had always seemed the best and brightest. It had always brought Izuku comfort, but compared to Hawks, it seemed cold and fake. All Might said Izuku couldn’t be a hero, but... Hawks said All Might was wrong. Maybe Izuku couldn’t be a hero like All Might… but, he realized suddenly, he didn’t want to be like All Might anymore.
