October has just begun, the leaves have changed color, and pumpkin spice lattes are all the rage at Shadow's job.
Working as a barista at Starbucks while studying tirelessly to become a lawyer, Shadow's life is what one may consider average. And yeah, it kinda is. All he wants to do is be left alone, but society insists he needs a job. It's not all bad, though; he's got (mostly) nice coworkers, decent pay, and a motorcycle.
