I've been using AO3 for years but only made an account recently. I am currently working on a historical fiction novel and need some feed back and unbiased eyes. I decided to use this to help me.
Some things about my writing style and background. I am a historian and written research papers for years. I have written fiction before, but I have never shared it with anyone. Writing has always been a passion and I am obsessed with fiction. You'll see that in my favorites, I have eclectic tastes and read everything from drama and comedy to smut and slice-of-life stories.
When it comes to my writing style I put myself in every characters' shoes and focus most on character relations. The story I am currently working on his called "Behind Closed Doors" and I use much of my family history, personal struggles, and influences from real people and places in the story. If you love Angel Dust from Hazbin Hotel, then you'll like my character, Dante.
It's the internet, so I don't have to say it, but please don't hesitate to share any opinions you have on the story. My goal is to get it published, incorporating feedback from general readers, eventually. However, that also means that when the time comes, I will take it down to move on to a more refined, published version. So, thank you in advance to anyone who give me feedback.
