Summary
What if Eleven hadn't been the only surviving 'experiment' after the massacre at Hawkins Lab in 1979. Number Four, a now 18 year old boy who goes by Robbie. He had been different from all the other children. Mainly that he only joined the experiment at 2 years old after his mother brought him back to the lab she had been part of a trail of when she got pregnant. At two years and a half years old the little redheaded boy first showed signs of his abilities and it freaked his single mother out who brought him to Dr. Brenner where he took the little boy in. He didn't really fit in with the other kids, but found comfort in one of the guards, Henry.
Now it's 1983 and ever since the massacre at Hawkins lab Robbie has resided in the Upside Down. But a twist in his plan forces him to return to Hawkins and join the crew up there. He tries to keep his motives hidden, while he pretends to help out the rest in finding Will while also tracking down Eleven and finding out what Hawkins National Laboratory is up to.
