“Excuse me?” The stranger’s voice is sharp.
Obanai turns to the man, Sabito, who the fuck is that? “Did you do something to piss off Sanemi again?”
“I didn’t do anything,” the stranger folds his arms, and Sanemi realizes, he’s wearing Giyuu’s haori. He shouldn’t be. “But if you insist on being petty,” the man looks directly at Sanemi, his violet eyes glittering with irritation, “Sabito, Water Hashira, at your service.”
The words jolt through Sanemi. “Where’s Giyuu?”
A cold whisper. “How do you know that name.”At the end of the war, Sanemi is given a second chance. (Some others aren't so lucky.)

Summary
Giyuu is a young student who drops out of university after the death of his sister and moves to a small town. There, he mysteriously begins exchanging letters with a boy named Sabito.
Sabito is a demon hunter from the Taisho Era and the Water Pillar. He begins exchanging letters with someone named Giyuu, who claims to live in the Modern Era, an era without demons.
Love begins to blossom between them. They help each other, they yearn for each other.

Giyuu's fingers brushed the wooden handle of his folding razor, frustration tightening his jaw as he stared at his tangled, snow-damp hair. Hakuji slid into the seat opposite him, his gaze sharp. "That's a drastic solution for a hair problem."
When Giyuu confessed, "I don't know... how to handle it," Hakuji saw more than messy hair—he saw a reflection of his own loneliness.
Pulling out the wooden comb he always carried, a relic of a lost love, he offered: "Cutting it would be a shame... I could comb it for you. If you want. It's better than that razor."
