After eight years of silence, Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo reunite at a gathering celebrating Shoto Todoroki’s achievement of making the top five in the hero rankings. Time has changed them both—Izuku, now a teacher after losing his quirk, still trains and remains impressively strong, while Katsuki holds the #15 spot in the pro hero rankings.
As the night goes on, Izuku’s friends jokingly get him to show off his muscles, proving that even without a quirk, he’s still in top shape. Katsuki won’t admit it—not even to himself—but watching Izuku like that definitely does something to him.

Summary
Midoriya Izuku was diagnosed quirkless at age 4 and the world gave up on him. His Father left and his Mother tried her best, but Inko was a protective woman who didn’t believe in her son. His best friend abandoned him, marking him a useless Deku to every new person he came into contact with. His teachers turned a blind eye to the taunts and jeers from his classmates, and his favourite hero of all time told him it just wasn’t possible for a quirkless to do well in this world.
And that’s how Midoriya Izuku came to be here, standing on top of a building, getting ready to jump.
