“I love you,” Tommy whispered seriously, hair bright gold and eyes an even brighter blue, still young enough that baby fat clung to his cheeks.
Techno looked at him, so earnest and willing to give his heart away, and knew that all the goodness in the world was bottled up in this boy that called himself Techno’s little brother. But he couldn’t understand what Tommy saw in him. Not with all the blood he had on his hands, the screams that he caused haunting his sleep.
“Why?” Techno didn’t appreciate the way his voice cracked.
“I love you,” Tommy repeated, not an ounce of doubt in his words, “because you are love.”

Grian opened the door, expecting to see one of the other hermits standing around somewhere, but instead he was greeted by a massive metal pod buried partially in the dirt. It had flashing red lights on it and all of a sudden the door opened with a gush of steam.
