Summary
The Sludge Villain doesn't find Bakugo after escaping All Might, but some other random civilian. There's no series of explosions to draw All Might to the scene of the second attack. It's by pure luck that Izuku stumbles upon them. And Izuku does what he always has when he sees one person hurting another: inserts himself between the aggressor and victim. He finds this is significantly harder to do when one of the parties is a sentient slime.

“No.” Imelda said with a shake of her head. “No.. No this is a mistake. We would know if Miguel was… if something happened to Miguel.” Her eyes darted to the photo as she frowned. “The Department of Family Reunions would have called us. We would know.”

“Why would his photo be here then.” The twins whispered.
Héctor hadn’t been able to take his eyes off the photo, shaking hands hovering over it.
This had to be a mistake. This couldn't be real.

When an accident rips Miguel from the land of the living much to early, he finds himself in the Land of the Dead, this time for good. Through a series of unfortunate mix ups (and some purposeful meddling from every ones favorite disgraced musician), Miguel finds himself alone and wondering why his family never came for him. But for a boy like Miguel, the world is his family. And some how, it'll be alright.

Summary
AU where Bruno actually did leave the Encanto and Héctor lives. Bruno ends up in Mexico, where he meets the Rivera family. Stern but patient Imelda, excitable and creative Héctor and adorable little Coco. He stays with the family for ten years before they find out what he left behind, packing their bags they make him return to Encanto, but not to face it alone of course.

Summary

With nowhere to go, he takes the boy in as his own son. Link would find a home and family among the Gorons, Daruk would make sure. And no matter what would come their way—be it fate or flaw—he would stand firm beside his son. Because Gorons were family, and family stuck together. And hylian form or not, Link would forever be a Goron.
