Some girls clapped their hands as Fiamma concluded the tale. Immediately and shyly she looks to the teachers table at the head of the banquet and sees Miss Elisabeth softly clapping her hands with a gentle smile on her face, which makes her smile. Feeling another set of eyes upon her, she looks around to see the unnerving stare of Miss G who has a small tilt at the corner of her lips as if stuck in a realization and amazement as she looks at the girl.

Miranda swallowed hard.
The question itself wasn't out of place, in fact it was one that she knew would be asked often in upcoming interviews. Still, chocolate doe-eyes appeared in her mind for a split second, and a sharp twinge in her heart quickened her heart rate. The knowledge that she would never see them again weighed heavily on her, but she did her best to push those thoughts to the back of her mind. The last thing she needed now was another nervous breakdown and a wave of tears.
