Summary
Magical backlash of Voldemort's attack transfers Harry across time to the night Tom is left at the steps of the Wool's Orphanage. They look so alike, their names sounding like they could be sons from the same family, so when the matron finds them, the logical conclusion is that they are twins.
Harry and Tom grew up inseparable and possessive. They share everything. They have their secret language to speak in while no one is listening. Harry is empathic with fierce urge to protect Tom. Tom is colder, but he is ready to do anything for Harry. He will burn the world for him, he vows in the darkness of the night as they lie under a shared blanket.
For them, it's only natural their relationship develops into a romantic one with time. To them, it's more than natural when they figure out they are descendants of the Gaunt family. It's like a continuation of family traditions, right? To everyone else… Well, it's a good thing they don't matter.

Something ticked in Paul’s mind as the familiar words washed through him. When he looked at John, his friend was already looking at him. And suddenly, it all became clear: He remembered having that conversation more than 50 years ago. He remembered it too well.
He had been thinking about it for years, wondering what he should have understood, how he should have reacted. If it was as meaningful as it had felt or if his memory had just romanticized it.
“I don’t think a love like that obeys to any rules,” John went on, unaware of Paul’s agitation. “It’s not something that humans have created, not like a societal thing. It’s deeper than that, and that’s what some people are afraid of I guess, because they can’t control it. Whatever laws they create, they can never control it. Summary
Percy Weasley is not particularly reckless, until he is, once, on the anniversary of his brother's death. For most people, the idea of sending oneself through time to correct one's mistake would remain a fantasy, something to dwell on in the middle of the night, but Percy has always been too capable for his own good.
Featuring: a reluctant spy, an unlikely friendship between a ghost and a lonely student, a portrait, very few friends, several very lengthy conversations about soul magic, and far too many Horcruxes.
(Or, an attempt to answer the question, if someone intelligent was sent back through time, armed only with the word 'Horcrux' and a general knowledge of the main timeline––not to mention a keen understanding of the Hogwarts curriculum––could that person logic his way to defeating the Dark Lord? Only time will tell).
