“Uh, since you’re gathering up magic to break the barrier,” He replied, feeling pressure under Sans’ glare. “Whenever you started doing that though, I don’t know.” What? Sans chuckled and leaned back, looking at Matthew and Sal’s faces to read something more out of the other two.
“c'mon, who’s the comedian here? heh. don’t quit your day job there, pal.”
The three of them looked on in a cocktail of concern and confusion, entirely serious. Sans sat there beside himself, eyelights disappearing into darkness as realization dawned. They really believed he was going to break the barrier by stuffing his face?

Summary
Grillby is a single father, doing his best working as a waiter and bouncer in New Home to provide the best he can for his daughter, Fuku. One day, his ordinary life lands him on the edge of a catastrophic time-space disaster, heralded by a small skeleton who is coping with the aftermath destroying his life.
To Sans, the foundation of their friendship lies in the fact Grillby never asks questions he knows he can't have the answer to.(Pre-Frisk timeline developing the past of the characters and the relationships which bring them to the present. Rated tentatively because I'm developing the story as I write.)

After Camino, Katsuki has nightmares. Typical nightmares about being captured. However, as he starts to think about how fucking stupid his classmates were to come help him escape, those nightmares start to warp into more terrifying fears, and Katsuki doesn't sleep for almost a week. When a certain redhead takes notice and takes action, Katsuki can't handle the feelings that constantly nag him at night. With some unexpected help, he manages to get some semblance of normalcy back and starts to figure out what to do with his newly-discovered feelings for a particular pair of his classmates who have more patience than expected.
Full disclosure: This is a slow burn, featuring our favorite Sunshine BOI, Sunshine GIRL, and everyone’s favorite asshole (Read: Kirikacchako). We’re in the process of editing current chapters and adding new ones as we go, now that merry quarantine has locked us inside with nothing better to do.
