Summary
Strangely, something clicks and Sasha realises two things. There is something terribly wrong in the archives, and Gertrude’s killer is someone she knows.
It doesn't make sense for her to know something like this. There's no proof of anything- the police investigation has barely even started- but Sasha is sure of it. One of her coworkers killed Gertrude. It's the only thing that makes sense. And if one of her coworkers killed Gertrude, then there's nothing really stopping them from killing her as well. She needs to be careful. At least until she has a better idea of who the culprit is.
It's not long before Sasha's come up with a plan. It's simple enough: she’ll do her work as if nothing’s wrong. As if there isn’t a murderer in their midst. She’ll continue to investigate her coworkers. She’ll also create secret tapes of her investigations, for the next archivist. Just in case Gertrude’s killer murders her, too.

Sasha, head archivist of the Magnus Institute, deals with the aftermath of Prentiss' attack and her growing paranoia as best she can. And if a few friendships get broken up in the process, well, sometimes that's just how it is. -

Summary
Martin puts the plates in the cupboard, right next to an old box of tea. It’s odd, he thought they’d ran out of tea a few days ago. He opens it carefully, not willing to immediately trust something as suspicious as this in their current circumstances, but it’s just a regular box of tea, containing one lone teabag. Martin probably just thought they’d ran out because it’s not enough to make tea for both of them. That must be it. Well, at this point, there’s really no point in keeping only one teabag. He should make tea for Jon and help everything feel a little bit more normal again. It’s the best thing he can do right now.

The tape recorders don't stop coming after it ends. It doesn't take long for Martin to decide that their presence hurts more than it probably should. It's like rubbing salt in the wound or scratching at it, keeping it fresh, refusing to let it heal.

Elias stays blessedly silent for a few seconds, and Peter thinks that he may have just won this futile argument by tiring out Elias when a familiar shiver runs up Peter's spine as he's suddenly aware of how watched he is.
Elias' voice is much calmer and more in control than he expects it to be when he speaks up after the feeling has time to fully settle in, "Don't look back at me to answer," The thread isn't as strong as it could be, but Peter knows better than to fight it at this point, though he's not sure what Elias is planning with this little manifestation of his abilities, " What do you think I look like, Lukas?"
Oh. Oh no . This is not going to go well.

"You're young, you should know this." Peter pauses, before repeating, "Ee Dee Em." This time putting more emphasis on each separate syllable. The sounds still don't make any sense to Martin, and he shoots Peter a pointed look. At this, Peter elaborates, "Electronic dance music?"
Oh. He's been saying EDM, which, to Peter's credit, is an actual thing. But, as Martin takes in the words properly, they don't become any less baffling than they were initially. He's listening to Beyoncé for God's sake.
"Do you even know what that is?" Martin asks, the disbelief obvious in his voice.
"Of course I do," Peter smiles, "It's all I listen to these days."
And in that moment, Martin realizes he has to make a choice. He can go on with his work, maybe finish before two in the morning, but have to ignore Peter's comments and just accept that yes, maybe, Beyoncé is actually electronic dance music. Or, he can turn his chair around properly and face Peter, and attempt the gruelling task of explaining to an old rich white man that, no, actually, he most definitely does not "only listen to EDM these days."

Martin gets high at work and meets someone unexpected. -

Martin moves over and watches how his boyfriend handles the dough. He's awkward with it, tentative and gentle, as if he's scared of hurting it somehow.
"Is this, uh, am I doing this right?" Jon asks, still slowly stretching out the dough and folding it onto itself.
"Well," he says shifting closer to Jon again, "you could be applying more pressure. Here, let me help you out, dear."
Martin moves fully behind Jon, and reaches around him, putting his hands on top of his boyfriend's. Jon inhales sharply, but doesn't say anything else, just lets Martin's hand rest on top of his.
Martin's hands are bigger, but not big enough to entirely envelop the other's hands, and Jon's hands are much, much warmer than his own are. To see what they're doing, Martin moves his head to look over Jon's shoulder. Though he can't see his boyfriend's face from this angle, he can see how it is slowly growing red at the edge of his vision. He decides not to tease him on it, instead content with letting a smile spread across his face and slowly guiding their joined hands in the proper motion.
Or, Martin teaches Jon how to make bread.
