Seokjin doesn’t share.
Like his toys when he was a kid, like his revision notes in highschool, he keeps his thoughts and feelings to himself. He doesn’t open up, because opening up is hard. Because it means putting words on worries, regrets, fears, things he’d rather forget about.
Not sharing would be manageable, if he didn’t feel so much, too much, all the time. If his emotions weren’t a tsunami threatening to overflow, a raging hurricane, a downright mess.
If the only person who could appease the storm, wasn’t also the one rousing it.

They reach the car, but Namjoon keeps his grip on Jin's hand, turning to face him directly. “We should go out sometime.”
Jin snorts in amusement. “You’re drunk.”
It's late, the street illuminated only by a dim street light. Even in the poor lighting, Namjoon thinks Jin is radiant.
“So?” Namjoon challenges, resisting when Yoongi tries to pull him away from Jin. “I think you’re beautiful. And I’ll still think that when I’m sober.”
Jin's dark eyes twinkle as he scans them over Namjoon's face. “How about you try again when you’re sober then, and we’ll see if that’s a true statement?”
“Deal,” Namjoon slurs, finally letting Yoongi drag him away.
__Ever since Namjoon met Jin at a party, he can't get his mind off of him. As he gets to know Jin, he learns that he does not believe in love or relationships. Namjoon hopes he can be the one to change his mind.
