Summary
Burdened with immortality and twisted into a beastly shape by Nidhogg's final curse after using gifts stolen from Ratatoskr to slay their kind, Estinien has hid beneath the aetherial tempest surrounding Ishgard for ages. Using the ravaging abyss to deafen himself to the world of man above that he helped to shape, nothing has roused him for centuries. That is, until he is stirred by the impossible: the voice of his long-dead lord. Spurred into flight for the first time in nearly a millennia, Estinien finds himself interrupting the banishment and judgment of accused heretic Aymeric de Borel, a man identical to his love from another lifetime but now spared the same fate.
But what purpose could this second chance serve? Estinien has long abandoned hope of being freed from his curse, unable to die at mortal hands and bound by the magic of dragons long gone from this world. Yet while he understands this Aymeric is not the same prince he knew, served, and loved, he is unable to refuse when the earnest young man makes a request that echoes his past and winds up learning just what has become of the kingdom of man.

Summary
"Why don't you ask him to dance?" An innocent enough question, perhaps, from one such as Emmanellain, who flitted through partners like a snowflake on the wind, but Estinien's relationship with Aymeric was more complicated than that, and a lavish ball thrown by Ishgard's nobility was certainly not the place for such a bold move. Even if he imagined Aymeric would be utterly delighted by such an offer. And even if Estinien longed to have the courage to hold him close, to voice the affection that consumed him as thoroughly as any flame. The resolve that had carried him through a thousand deadly encounters fled him before such a simple task as confessing his love to the one who mattered most.
But sometimes, all you need to find your courage is the nagging of a well-meaning friend to give you a little push.

Summary
To be awakened in the dead of night in a barracks of the Temple Knights generally means one thing: an attack. But what Estinien finds when he wakes is not the chaos of knights approaching dragons but the calm snoring of his comrades - and his newly minted lover bent over him, feverish with need. And that is a crisis Estinien is all too happy to put to rights.

Summary
Steeped in blood and hatred, the war has long prevented Estinien from taking up anything resembling a hobby. But the war is over, and even if it's effects will be felt for years to come, at last he has a chance to rest and explore interests that don't involve spearing things (violently or otherwise). And for Aymeric, there is naught that better represents the peace that has come to Ishgard and his own life than the sound of his beloved humming as he cooks them both breakfast, the picture of domestic bliss.
And if they come to find other uses for Estinien's new culinary exploits, so much the better.

Summary
It seemed Estinien had only just returned when he left again. At least this time he'd told Aymeric where he was going and when he expected to return. Only 4 days, he had promised. And yet in his absence Aymeric finds the nights are long and cold, and grant him far too much time to think, plagued by fears of the past and future alike. How quickly he has come to rely on the steady warmth of his beloved at his back to chase them away. When Estinien returns home early in the middle of the night, he is only too willing to help Aymeric escape the thoughts that plague him by turning his attention (and his tongue) to more pleasant endeavours.
