"That sounds sad," Maria said, with that odd mixture of earnest naivety and worldly insight that so often caught Platinum flat-footed. She could never quite tell which jokes would land and which jokes Maria would realise might not have been jokes at all. "Never being able to tell people how you really feel would be awful."
It was. But so was dying, or not having enough money to buy proper shampoo. Platinum preferred to avoid both, so c’est la vie as the Vouivre might declare.
Instead of saying any of that, though, she said, "It's not all bad. I get free drinks at the bar and my own crater in your bed. A girl can deal."

Summary
"I'm fine, Doctor... I'll stay awake as long as you need me to," Margaret assured, her ears flickering around cutely as if to accentuate her fight with the oncoming onslaught of drowsiness.
"Thank you." He said, knowing full well she was going to fall asleep before he did.
By the time the book began falling out of her hands, the Doctor had taken ownership of holding it while the tail adjusted over to his lap so that he could rest his arms on it.
And within a few minutes, Margaret had fallen asleep with her body slumped over in his direction and her head resting against his shoulder.
When the Doctor finds himself unable to sleep at night, he heads over to his office to finish up some work. The only respite he earns from the quiet night is when Margaret Nearl interrupts his work to read a book with him while he cherishes her presence. (Doctor X Margaret Nearl)

Summary
A thousand years ago, the sea grew angry. It rose and swallowed all that it touched beneath furious waves, smothering the entire planet. A handful of survivors fled to the tallest peak in the world in order to flee the rising tides. They were guided by a long lost prophet and witnessed as Mother Gaiya gave the people of the land one final gift, the Everscape. The Everscape was the name the survivors gave to the floating planetoid upon which the Goddesses’ children could survive the flood. After a millennium has passed, the residents of the Everscape have begun to tentatively explore the endless seas.
In this strange world, a group of adventurers, salvagers and knights must band together to undertake a grand voyage beyond the edge of the map in an effort to uncover an ancient conspiracy. From sea monsters to ancient curses to their own complete inability to work together, the crew of the Archelon will have to overcome many obstacles if they want to discover the truth sunken deep beneath the dark waters.
