But this time, she wasn't there, and when she finally got to you, she didn't find you the way she remembered you.“How about we have a quick visit to the medbay?” The Doctor suggested. “We can make sure you’re physically okay after… and then..” She sighed, looked lost for a moment, and you wanted to offer an answer, but you had none. “Then we’ll go from there. And you... you’re gonna be okay”
In short: reader has ptsd from an adventure gone wrong and has trouble navigating a strengthened fight or flight response.

But you have a few more problems in communication than you had thought. Specifically, choosing what to actually communicate. Fortunately, the Doctor knows you a little too well and is able to understand even things you don't say.

But you soon find that the snow is an even bigger problem than you first anticipated, and when the Doctor needs your help, and the people need the Doctor's help, what are you to do?
"Her coat felt heavy on your shoulders, and you weren’t sure if you would be able to take her place, if you would be capable of the things she did daily. But these people needed the Doctor, and right now, the Doctor needed you. So you straightened your shoulders, lifted your head a little higher, and gripped the sonic a little tighter.
