Summary
Mira lays on her side, facing Rumi, but hasn’t looked at her even once, and Rumi’s been doing her best to not think about it. It’s easier that way. But Zoey’s weight locks them together anyway. Her torso thrown over Rumis, face down on her chest, legs thrown over Mira’s. She’s spread as diagonal as possible, like she’s trying to be as much a bridge between them with her own body.
And Rumi especially wasn’t allowed here. But that’s not quite right. She’d never allowed herself here.
Rumi and Mira, in the wake of the Idol Awards, and a talk that's been long needed. Because Rumi has some secrets to answer for.

"Okay, so!" Zoey said, plopping herself down next to Rumi one random hiatus morning. "I know we haven't been officially dating for all that long. But! I know that we're all kinda wanting to do. Yaknow-"
"Each other?" Mira butted in, flipping the eggs she was frying for Rumi."Yeah!" Zoey said. "Well, uh. So. I wanted to say. Disclose. All of that jazz." She sighed, looking like she was psyching herself up for something. "I'm a trans woman. And I still have all of that, uh, equipment."
Rumi raised an eyebrow. "What sort of equipment?"
"I, well, I don't think this'll be a problem, because I'm pretty sure you two aren't like that, but, well." Zoey rambled around her point. "I have a penis." She stared at the counter, looking like that had taken a lot out of her."Oh, don't worry." Rumi said, patting her on the back. "I do too."
Slowly, Zoey turned towards her. "I'm sorry, but, uh, what? You're also a trans woman?!" Her jaw just about hit the floor.
"No I'm not?" Rumi said. "I just have a penis. I've always been a woman."(Based on that one "I'm not a demon, I just have patterns" conversation from the movie)
