The sun hit Chan ever so slightly in that moment, illuminating his features and highlighting the tall slope of his nose. Something hot fluttered in Hyunjin’s stomach and he forced himself to turn away and look out of the window. “Hyung,” Hyunjin presses, just a little louder as a thrill of alarm straightens his spine. “What’s happening?”
Chan shakes his head again as if he’s trying to shake his vision back into focus. “I don’t— I don’t know,” he admits, voice pitched low so the fans in front of them won’t hear. “I don’t feel right. Something’s off.”
Curiously, Hyunjin leans closer, focusing on locating the alpha’s scent beneath the medical grade blockers they wear at events, and he recoils the moment he finds it.
Chan’s scent is burning.
