It was one of those summer nights. Another of those heavy lidded, nostalgic twilights as you were silently basking by a river, unloading your burdens to the quiet of nature. It is as though you were but one; the wind carrying each of your melancholic breaths and the delicate breeze caressing you ever so softly, sending shivers down your spine.
Nighttime was slowly evolving and the blessed gaze of the moon grew ever stronger upon you. Still, you had no care, for your mind was elsewhere, preoccupied with an increasingly painful ailment. So close, yet so far away. An unreachable love, cursed by the Gods. You had fought reluctantly against him, unable to walk by his side. Your clans being centuries-old enemies made any hope of union impossible.
Indeed, unbeknownst to everyone, Madara had been your secret companion for five years already. Enemies by day, Lovers by darkness. The decision of keeping your relationship status undisclosed was imperative, despite the risks.
However as combat between tribes kept going on and on, resources and wealth were rendered scarce so your family chose to secure the safety of the clan through marriage to the Senju next week, regardless of your stance on the matter. -
