    Summary

There's a lonely grave in secluded wilderness. Kokuryu Kirika: white coat, curled hair, red lipstick, and designer heels— stands with a ridiculously large bouquet of white roses.

She bends down. Sets the bouquet at the grave. And stares at the blank stone.

Her thumb pricks once on her nail.

An old tavern, in west Germany. Smoke. Liquor. And drunk men. The old woman across Haru grins at him.

Haru unclutches his Rolex. Sighs. And tosses it into the middle.

All in. He says. As always.

    And rolls the dice.

    In other words:

Haru realises he'd been leashed. All along.
Kirika realises she'd been deceived. All along.

And they both learn that, owning, and keeping are two different things.

In other words: This is that once, they played dice with "god".
