Baelor resisted the urge to rest his hand against the lad's back, as one might soothe a skittish horse. "No offense was taken, ser."
"Thank you," Ser Duncan said, then immediately amended, "Thank Your Grace...ness. Seven fucks, I'm getting another drink." And he whirled away into the throng before Baelor could say a word.

Maekar, believing that Dunk’s stable, 'stone-like' Alpha presence will act as a biological anchor to soothe Aerion's volatile 'Omega fracturing' commands the low-born hedge knight to be the Prince’s constant shadow.
Aerion plans to seduce Dunk to prove that his father’s 'True Knight' is just another animal driven by Alpha instincts. He wants to throw it in Maekar’s face that his 'anchor' is actually just a 'slobbering dog' who couldn't resist a Prince’s scent.
