    I got to the point of thinking of swapping bikes. I was so fixated on this idea of mine that I asked Gibo, my manager, to ask Honda about it - not that Honda or the sponsors would have ever allowed us to do that.
    Because of that, I even thought of getting to the starting grid, go to either Biaggi or Gibernau and say “come on, get off of there, jump on my bike and I’ll take yours. We both accept the risks of riding a bike prepared for the preferences of the other and then we see what happens”»

Hadn't wanted to elaborate to the already protective Alpha in his home who frequently over-stressed about Valentino's state of being. He had kept it simple: he wasn't feeling good, and would go to the local clinic. Valentino did not mention the pregnancy test in the garbage in his upstairs bathroom.
