“I don’t know what you mean.” Jason let his cigarette fall to the ground as he stomped it out. Tim’s eyes never left him. Tim knew he knew what he was talking about. “My cigarette break is over.” Jason let that hang in the air.
Tim raised his eyebrows. “This is you avoiding me.”
“Maybe you should ask a real question, and faster. I don’t have all night.” Jason grumbled.
“Yes, you do.” Tim stood firm. “And you know what I’m talking about.”
Jason narrowed his eyes at Tim. He could flee, but he had a feeling Tim would be right behind him, stalking him. Maybe he should go on the road. Gotham was feeling a little cramped lately. If he left, Tim would be right. He was running away; avoiding the issue. “What do you want from me?”
Jason has only just realized his feelings for Tim, but it's too late. Tim and Bernard have started dating. Jason must let Tim go and move on. Tim doesn't make moving on easy, as he does his best to stay in Jason's life, despite being repeatedly pushed away.
