Summary
Before the events of Soul Eater, there was a problem larger than the occasional witch causing problems. The Cold War; the closest humanity has ever gotten to self destruction. A game of chicken played with nuclear bombs that would destroy life as we know it if they were fired. In the shadow of this existential crisis for humanity, the students and warriors of the DWMA tred a fine line of loyalties and responsibilities. This is the tale of a couple of teenagers who are fundamental to continuing the peace. But at what cost?
