Not when it makes him feel so good inside when his eyes meet Nezuko’s and she smiles at him like that. Not when he can't stop himself from smiling back at her, even when she won’t be able to see it. His heart beating as hard as if he were in the middle of an exciting fight. Not when such little things like thinking about going to explore caves with her, taking her by the hand like he had seen other people do, makes him feel so inexplicably happy.
It can’t be something bad and that’s enough for him. Even if that's the corniest thing he has ever thought.
