He walked through the doors, and some papers in his hand. “Welcome home, Luchik,” I greeted him. As I set the timer for the tarts, turning towards him dusting the crumbs and batter off of my hands onto my apron.
His face flushed at the nickname I called him, turns out giving him a nickname in his own language was an easy way for him to melt into my hands. Walking towards him I once again greeted him with a small kiss on the cheek before he spoke. “Solnishko, you’re much too sweet to me,” He kissed my cheek as my smile grew bigger.
