When Lan Wangji finally emerged from his seclusion the first thing he did was to head to Lotus Pier, the former home of his beloved Wei Ying.
The Burial Mounds didn't feel like Wei Ying, they didn't brim with life and laughter like his precious red-ribboned boy had, they didn't have numerous bars where Wei Ying had surely gotten drunk, and if Lan Wangji walked into one of them in the midst of nostalgia and heartbreak no one could blame him. Right?
Finding a completely drunk Jiang Cheng was not part of the plan.
