Summary
Wemmbu and Flame had always been close. To everyone else, they were just best friends. But for them, it was something more. The small moments they shared, the trust they built, and the time they spent together slowly became something he couldn’t ignore.
He knew Flame didn’t feel the same way. He knew there was a chance things wouldn’t go how he wanted.
But he still decided to confess. With flowers in his hands, Wemmbu asks Flame to go to prom with him. But the answer he receives is not the one he was hoping for.
After that day, their friendship begins to change. Wemmbu starts pulling away, trying to hide feelings that he knows he shouldn’t have. Meanwhile, Flame struggles to understand why losing the person who was always there for him feels so painful.
As time passes, both of them begin to realize that their relationship was never as simple as they thought. What started as friendship slowly becomes something neither of them knows how to handle.
