The room is quiet with the sound of shuffling papers and clinking teacups until Clorinde breaks in with an amused laugh. “This is one of those love letters,” she starts, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear as she readjusts the way she sits to face him broadside. “It almost sounds like it's about you.”
“Me?” He laughs, albeit incredulously. “Must be a boring one, then.”
A joke between Wriothesley and Clorinde lands them with a weekly advice column in the Steambird. While the submissions are anonymous, one particular letter, seemingly about Wriothesley, catches their eye – an ask for romantic advice. Clorinde moves on but Wriothesley connects the dots. He knows who wrote this letter but he can hardly believe it.

An embarrassed cough hacked out of Wriothesley’s lungs in response to that statement. Did she have to be so blunt about it? Those Omegas were nothing as compared to Neuvillette—the literal Hydro Sovereign of Fontaine.
“Wriothesley. If you do not help, I fear that it will only worsen the situation. Monsieur Neuvillette may not accept a stranger to his nest—at least, compared to an Alpha, you will also be less affected by his heat.”
Wriothesley was born and raised Beta, but when he's tasked to help the Chief Justice of Fontaine through a heat cycle, he knows it's an offer he can't refuse. What he wasn't expecting was just how much he could be affected by Monsieur Neuvillette.

Childe opened the door. His eyes were downcast as he continued talking on the phone, closing the door behind him and laughing. “Summer’s right around the corner, though! Oh, that’s when she’s the busiest? I understand. When can we plan on getting everyone together, then…”
Childe looked up and his eyes went wide. Zhongli felt heat rush to his face as he fidgeted where he sat, eyes darting between him and the wall as Childe continued to stare. His mouth hung agape after a second, frozen in place, and after a long moment of silence and a few faint hellos from the phone, Childe spoke in a small and slightly trembling voice.
“Uh… Beidou? I’ll call you back.”
Childe hung up, turned his phone off, and dropped it to the floor when his hand went limp. His eyes lapped over Zhongli’s body, to the ears, the costume, the stockings, then he finally addressed him.
“Zhongli,” he breathed, shaky hands already undoing the buttons of his shirt, “Zhongli, oh darling, look at you.”
Or: Zhongli has a very special surprise for Childe waiting in the bedroom.
