As careful as possible the professor tried to free her from all the rubble. Fortunately, Charlotte was still conscious. Just barely but she was. Weakly, she tried to speak: “Are… are you hurt Professor?” “I’m alright. We should worry about you now. Why did you do that?”, he asked while gently lifting her from the rubble. Upon being leaned on an intact pillar, the student let out a pain-filled hiss: “I don’t… know, Professor. I didn’t… think.”
