    Since the time of Durin, his line has hunted vampires in an attempt to keep normal humans safe from the night. Centuries later, when that ages old hatred flares up and seems to be once again coming to a head when Thorin's youngest nephew is taken by the vampires, portals to hell start opening beneath their very feet.

    With the help of a meddling--well, whatever he is-- and a resistant fae, the two sides must learn to work together. Preferably before the world ends.
