“Oh?” Navia turned to face her. Somewhere, she heard Silver and Melus urging her to come away, she must be upset, but she paid it no mind. “This ought to be good. How do you intend to honor that request?”
Clorinde looked into her eyes. Her gaze was always heavy, always focused and sharp as her sword. And she held that gaze as she slowly sunk down to kneel, resting her weight on one knee.
“I will marry you,” she said.

In this story, Widowmaker joins the fight and gets injured, and Ashe, despite never having known her very well, helps her and calls off the fight because she doesn’t want anyone to die over getting Echo on her side. Widowmaker loses contact with Talon in the process. A medium-burn romance buds between them.
