“Mm, are you sure about that?” Dazai repeats as if he already knows the truth and it only makes Chuuya turn even more red. “A pint-sized garden slug like you needs all the height he can get,” he adds on with a faultless, beaming smile and, honestly, Chuuya can’t decide whether he’s insulted or enamored. Maybe a bit of both.
Or: What if Hanahaki were contagious? What if Chuuya is pining, but Dazai is choking on flowers?
