Too tired to object, Wei Wuxian did as Lan Wangji instructed. Soon his eyes began to droop. A quiet peace settled in the shadows of Wei Wuxian’s angular face. His cheeks were once plumper, but starvation had ravaged him. Only recently has he begun to improve with steady feedings. Lan Wangji sighed in relief as Wei Wuxian drifted off.
Like this, without pain, Wei Wuxian almost looked youthful again. Like the boy he met at the gate of Cloud Recesses, so profoundly carefree. A victim of his impulses, Lan Wangji leaned down to steal a kiss from the slumbering man’s lips. Soft, warm, pliant—he nearly dared to slip his tongue into that tempting mouth, but he restrained himself.
He pulled away from Wei Wuxian, finding silver eyes staring at him.
"Wei Ying—"
"Kiss me again. Just like that. Please." Then Wei Wuxian closed his eyes, and Lan Wangji descended upon the wanting man once more.

This was all just pretense anyway. The image Wei Ying was disparaging in the mirror wasn’t the real issue.
The thing that was really upsetting Wei Ying was the fact he’d come back as an Omega.
And a dysfunctional one at that.Wei Wuxian is resurrected into Mo Xuanyu's badly mistreated and malnourished OMEGA body with all the drives and desires that go with it. Except he was an Alpha in his former life, and that isn't sitting well with him. He's not sure he can reconcile the two battling wills inside him, and even if he does, it won't solve the problem of this dysfunctional body he's been bequeathed and the fact that it can't go into heat or give them the children Wei Wuxian is so desperate to have.
