    “You’re so stubborn!” Daisuke shouts in angry voice.

    Haru is still coughing and his eyes watery.

    “If you think your cough and puppy eyes can help you slipping from this one, you’re wrong, Inspector,” Daisuke speaks madly without looking at Haru.

    Haru tries to breathe normally while looking at Daisuke’s face. He can see Daisuke’s eyes are filled with anger, worry, and frustration.

    If it's not for Daisuke, they could die tonight.

    “I’m sorry,” Haru mutters softly as he can breathe properly. 

    “When you will learn? Are you stupid?” Daisuke raises his voice again.

    Haru feels guilty, he looks at Daisuke, “I’m sorry."

    “Stop it. You will never understand,” Daisuke utters the words, while hiding his true feeling.
