Summary
Standing at a height of only 5’4”, Lucy Chen has always looked up at the world. She walks straight-backed, vertebrae stacked as high as she can manage, but that only gets her so tall. It doesn’t help her at concerts where there is inevitably some 6’ plus dude-bro with an extremely wide back standing directly in front of her, and it certainly doesn’t help her reach the top shelf at the supermarket.
But being a lifelong shorty, Lucy has adapted. She long ago figured out that there was rarely a tall person or a step ladder around when you needed one, so Lucy compensates by being a climber.

Summary
“What are you doing here?” he asks when it becomes clear that Chris is too shocked to speak, and despite the delicious nectar of the gods he’s drinking, nothing can fully take away his irritation at the man in front of him.
The last time he’d seen Chris, he’d jumped down his throat about the whole Celina situation, and Tim is still just a tiny bit salty about it.
“Uh… what are you doing here?” Chris answers, and then his eyes flicker down Tim’s body and Tim has to admit that his presence and his current state of undress at Lucy’s apartment at six in the morning are rather damning. He’s barefoot, wearing only a pair of sweatpants that are hanging low on his hips. His chest is bare, his normally perfect hair a mess, and he knows for a fact that he’s at least half hard in his pants (without boxer briefs to help hide it) because he’s been thinking about Lucy all morning.

Chris shows up at Lucy’s apartment. Tim answers the door.

Summary
Really, the only issue is that Lucy hasn’t quite told Tim she likes him, yet. She’s pretty sure he knows it already, and on top of that, she’s fairly certain he likes her back…but she hasn’t gotten around to saying it out loud. It’s not like she hasn’t almost kissed him or said it about four thousand times – she just doesn’t want to be the one to make the first move again.
So, he’s going to kiss her tonight. She’s making sure of it.

Summary
Little things that were originally posted elsewhere (probably Tumblr) as a result of prompts or commentficcing. Or maybe this is the only place they're posted... why be consistent? The point is, I didn't write a whole story to be a whole story - I filled a prompt or reacted. Maybe there's no setup, or no actual beginning. There's almost definitely not an end (those are hard and this is fun).
Marked complete because each chapter does stand alone as a complete thing but will keep adding as time goes on.
Not rated, because who knows what's coming down the pike. No archive warnings because, well, see previous. Probably won't tag for anything either since most tags will only apply sporadically. Will try to TW on chapters that need it. Nothing particularly smutty until chapter 17 at which point the wheels have officially come off the wagon.

Summary
Finally, he turns back to the bar, wordlessly pouring her a shot of tequila. He slides it across the counter toward her, lifting his own glass in a silent gesture of cheers before downing the amber liquid in one fell swoop.
Lucy questions momentarily if maybe this isn’t the best idea — if adding alcohol to the intensity of the anger and grief and resentment that is still radiating off of him will result in anything other than regret.
But again, she opts to stay quiet. If this is what he needs in this moment, this is what she will give him.
She follows suit, wincing as the harshness of the liquor slides down the back of her throat.
